What we learned:
Kingsborough Park Workshop

On August 19th, the Community Planning Workshop facilitated a fun, community event in Kingsborough Park to ask community members "What would make the park a better place?"

Over 45 community members participated including neighbors, kids, business owners, and Mayor Brian Dalton.

Workshop attendees participated in four activities:

  1. An interactive poster asking which facilities they would like to see in Kingsborough Park.
  2. A walking tour questionnaire that helped identify great places and areas in need of improvement within the park.
  3. A team project which asked participants to work in groups and design their ideal Kingsborough Park.
  4. A mapping exercise that identified key pedestrian, bicyclist, and motorist routes to Kingsborough Park.
